...to put the cats on a diet at the same time we got the hamsters. I was sitting here in the basement at the computer when I noticed Rose batting at something in the corner. Closer inspection found it to be Seek---seemingly fine. It seems that Rose had knocked the hamster cage (which is upstairs in the kids' bedroom) on the floor. After penning up both the cats, the girl was able to find Lulu hiding behind one of her nightstands, so no harm was done. We'll all just have to remember to keep the bedroom door closed. But I wonder how Seek got all the way down to the basement...did Rose carry him down? Oh well, it looks like Seek has 9 lives. *and Pat IS going to clean up the spillage*
In other news, SCOOTER IS IN COUNTRY! In Ohio, even. He arrived Mon PM and will be surprising his mom at her 80th birthday party on Saturday. (so nobody tell, her, kay?) The kids heard me remark matter-of-factly that we would indeed have snow, since Scott was home. So, they are now convinced that he is making it snow and are waiting with awe and baited breath to see him, since he's magic and everything. *And yes, Scott, you are. MWAH* Don't know if we'll be tripping up northward to see him or hosting him here *big hint, call when you get a mo', babe*, but the blog entries will continue to be scarce either way. Am frantically knitting mitten/gloves for the boy's SYC teachers. Holiday break starts next Weds., and I'm a little under the gun. So, later taters, gotta knit

Alissa aka Kronk
saw the ad for "Kronk's New Groove" and thought of you. ;) Gonna go see it?
Well
I guess if they are showing it at the video show, you can say you went to see it. I'm renting it so the kids and I can watch it. You can take that night off and go out with Alissa if you want.
Kronk's New Groove
Ooh, missed this. Sorry. Is it at the theaters? Or on DVD? Well, we should rent it or go, and watch it and knit. I could get all over that in about five minutes if you want.
